Hey Lee :D Long time. And Daruis :D Great to see ya.

This new forum should, in no time at all, become quite wealthy with information with GSC down as much as it has been (do they ever defrag the servers LMAO).

One question for Nightwatch, can you and do you think it would be beneficial to have the posts reversed (most recent post on top)? We see what happens at GSC and, well, it's just a thought.

Hey Guys, very happy to see more of you :D
Welcome fatrap, Lee28, anchor.1 and Darius6. :thumbright:

Yeah, with GSC site is off for so long, we'd started losing communication; it's great to continue with it.

Yes its a great idea to keep us all in one place for when GSC goes down.

BTW,

I have told Don Reba, Gr1ph00n and Dezodor about the site. :D

Well, rockingmtranch, it's a very good question, setting the posts reversed (most recent post on top). Maybe we'd better ask everybody's opinion on this, after all this is a subject I should not decide if people would like it this way or another. So Guys what do you think? Should we arrange the posts as the latest post on top style, or leave it like this? Opinions are wanted. :D

I reckon it should be left as it is TBH i think its fine like this plus if you was to make newest first wouldnt that make post order odd like you would be reading the awnser first and then the question :?

Hey Nightwatch... wazzup here ?
A lot of known ppl... Are you gonna organizing a "n00b meeting" ? :P

Well ... if that's the reason, i surely could not miss the appointment ... don't you think ?!?

Clay

P.S. About reversing the posts order, i usually prefer having recent posts on top, but i understand that it's not mandatory... If maybe it could be possible to have it as an option in the profile settings it could be good, anyway.

P.P.S. Fatrap... don't worry... if you (and we) were able to use the GSC forum software, we can manage every forum in the World... :D

Hey Clay65 Nice to see you here as well. Welcome. :D
It's now all big party. The forum software is quite easy, you're right, after using the GSC software, you can use any. I hope they are updating very goo, too. This software soon will be upgraded to version PHPbb v3 the newest one (I was told it'll be even easier, more automatic; servers are going through extensive testing.)

About the posting order, well, good opinions, and btw, jamie1992 has a point that needs to be considered, about the reading the answer first and then the question... We need to keep collecting opinions from everybody on this matter. :)
=====
EDIT: OK Guys, there is a button under the pages, with which you can reverse the order of posts. Newest First, or Oldest First; depending on how you feel when you enter a certain thead/topic. :)

hey, going off-topics are OK, too; in fact fatrap has opened a fresh new 100 Rads Bar... Home of the Off-Topic Topics! on Stalker SoC sub-forum, like it is on GSC forum. Great, we won't be without our drinks here, either. :D

I'm not an op on irc.gamesurge.net/#stalkerdev (I'm just a regular - I really need to ask dezodor about getting ops there), but as soon as an op comes by, I'm going to ask to have this linked to in our topic. :)

Hey silverpower! Glad to see you here! And that sounds like a great idea you have there... I was gonna give you a 'thumbs up' thingy (emoticon) but there ain't one! The closest to it has some other digits in the air! Not exactly what I had in mind! :D

Hey silverpower, it's great to see you here, too. :D Welcome.

------------
Fatrap: there is one thumbsup smiley accessible through the "view more emotions" link, not the same one like on GSC forum, but still a "thumbs up" I guess: :thumbright:
