Are you talking about ui_global_map???

I think that is the background that the individual maps are layered over when you zoom in.

Thanks uncle egg :D an yes, you can use the maps in NEWSA and SIMBION. There will be a better map pack uploaded some point tomorrow. The first pack some of the colours looked a bit off so I redid them.

Heres a more or less final version TK 1.1 map. I may add some "radiation blurring", but I'm undecided on that.

Great :) I'm grabbing the file now. Thanks.

Alright, they're added to the mod, thanks (and the credits duly updated for the release, too) :thumbright: It'll surely add more character to the Zone.

Hey Ket,

I've noticed that your pictures on the fist page of your thraed that showed brilliant images from your works, after the software upgrade, have now unfortunately turned to non-operating links due to the reason they were too big and the forum only allows up to 600x480 pixel pictures inside posts (that's still a very good size). I'm really sorry for the inconvenience but they were already too big for the privious forum regulations anyway and 600x480 or smaller sizes will make your pages load faster for majority of the people who do not have fast internet connections, so they can enjoy your thread even more. (It's a happy-face positive look into the situation)
PS: mediafire offers one-click automatic resizing and embedding features.

Fixed first post, removed other images after resizing and sharpening to maintain quality only to find apparently the images are not 600*480 according to the forum (even though they are) so to say I'm not amused after spending 2 hours doing that resizing etc is an understatement.

PS: Image sizes have nothing to do with how fast a page loads, rather the physical size (in Kb) and how fast the server is the images are hosted on, not the size in pixels ;)

Hey Ket, sorry to hear that you've hit a brick wall there. Maybe a couple of pixels count disallowed the pictures. I'll go into the forum software and change the picture sizes a bit higher. Then it should go through. Your pictures are from your mod and important for your work, we'll try to accommodate them if we can. Give me an hour to be on the safe side, (check my post's time, we're both in the UK) then try emmbedding them into the posts again please. You will need to make a couple of subsequent posts, for each post only takes a certain number of pictures. :)

EDIT: OK, allowed image size is now 500x700. As you've resized them to 600x480, they should go through easily. :)

Hey ket,

Are you using that zombie script I sent you? If so are you getting any strange crashes with no error log?

I was, and the only way I stopped them for good was altering the script to this :

[logic]
active = mob_fake_death

[mob_fake_death]
on_actor_dist_le = 50 | nil

Basically, I removed the on_hit condition, as I think it was causing a crash if the zombie was attacked by another mutant... I'm not entirely sure, but it fixed my problem.

aaaaaaaaand begin the massive posting of screenshots. Some are new which you guys won't have seen yet, and others are from earlier stages of TK 1.1 development, such as the shots with the normal flashlight and not the new "old low-power" version now used in TK 1.1.

Some images as you can tell are out of sync with the others, I'm not sure why that is photobucket displays them as they should be.

@ jamie, vids are on the previous pages, I cant help your too lazy to DL them :p

Nightwatch, ta. Its taking a long time overhauling stalker, but I think the people who see these screens an stuff will agree the wait is worth it. I know quite a lot must be itching to give TK1.1 a spin, but I can't let it out the door unfinished. I'm not like other modders, I won't release something for the sake of it, quality over quantity with me B-) If possible I want to have TK 1.1 ready for christmas, it'll be like a whole new game for people to play :D
