SoC: How can I check if a mutant has a body part on it?

Postby notanumber on 10 Jun 2022 09:36

Unlike stalkers where the loot you can find on their corpses is generated when they die, the mutants seem to be born/created with or without applicable body part (e.g. dog tail).
How can I reliably check if a mutant has such a part or if its corpse does?

That's a good question. Sorry I don't have an answer but I'm sure Fatrap or Nightwatch would.
LINUX! Don't fight it. You will be assimilated!

Hi notanumber. welcome to the forum.
If I understood your question correctly, you want to check the loot status of the mutants that you shot, from a distance without needing to get near to them.
One way of achieving this may be done by means of employing a dedicated detector for this purpose.
I don't recall at this very moment if anyone has made a mod for it. You can check the available mods, but I guess you must've already done that.

However, it's only my opinion that, such a mod would require a serious work, and most importantly, it would certainly cause a lot of techinal (resource-wise) strain on the game resources.
