I used paint.net, and mipmaps should of been generated on saving the edited textures, if they wern't then I don't know why :p I haven't noticed any performance impacts either.

Save the file using "Save As" rather than Ctrl+S, this should open the dds options dialog after you select where you want it saved. In the dialog check the MipMaps option.

V1.0a, probably, the best foliage textures in the world for SoC :d

DL Linky

Changes: Saved textures manually, seems like mipmaps were not selected by default, DL size is now 4.85MB vs. 3.4MB.

Do those edited textures fix the "shimmer"?

Hey Ket, good job bro.

I finally got around to testing it out, and yes, shimmering is fixed! I have now started to go through and fix all of the shimmering textures in all my grass, using the advice from this thread. And it's also looking good to.

Oh yea, I'm using r2_tf_mipbias of -0.5 and it still looks great.

Shadow.

Spiffy :thumbright: let me know of any textures you find that "shimmer" and I'll put them through my magical machine that helps smooth out the jaggies and i'll add them to the foliage pack :salute:
