Well, that is why it's hard to make a mod what does meet the expectations of the majority of the ppl.

busetibi, the blowout spawns mutants, use your sleepbag to sleep until a blowout and it'll be crazy :D

Hey Kany, did you script in the task to shoot the traitor? Played through vanilla again and didnt get that one.

Do you mean the one that a guy in the Bar gives you? Something about he stole an artifact? If so, that is in vanilla.

No, I think it was a job from Lukash. Kill the traitor, but stealthily. You follow him to the little wooden house nearby the mercs outpost.

No, that one is in vanilla. That one was such a pain for me in both.
Although, on my most recent playthrough, a pack of dogs killed the group of mercs who get the info from the traitor, and it was as simple as rolling a grenade into the building he was waiting in. With all the explosives laying around, the whole place went up. And I just sat back laughing. MUWAHAHAHAHA!

You only get it if you complete the mission to wipe out the Duty Exo guys near the Freedom base... I usually do that with a few explosives to weaken them, and then let the Freedom guys mop up... there are greater numbers of Freedom guys!!

That way I stay neutral to Duty, as I don't actually kill any of them.

As a result of doing all the Freedom missions from Lukash, you also get the mission from Max to take out the crazy Stalker in the swamp, and he gives you a Desert Eagle as a reward.

yea mate, I've just finished AW and have entered RF, so I'm now getting into the better levels (the ones I enjoy the most)nothing too hard as yet, tbh, I still think it's a bit light on Mutants (even after a blowout) but hopefully RF can throw me a challenge, and I can't wait to get into Pripyat and see whats happening.
I know it's hard for you modders because everyone has different tastes about the levels of NPC's and Mutants, but I'm enjoying myself atm :thumbright:
so all's good :)

well I finished it,Pripyat was looking good with the two controllers but once I'd cleared the level it was quiet(liked your trader location) so onwards to Chernobyl NPP, I liked the few mutants on the ground made the journey different,also liked the extra voices in The Sarcophagus levels they sounded more paniced and it added to the rush of killing everyone, Stancia 2 was okay, (same old same old) got back to Pripyat paid you another visit (although i still had lots of ammo and stuff) to see if you had anything new to sell, walking through Pripyat in freeplay only came across 4 Monolith but no Mutants, so I left for RF, had four Duty guys coming up the hill who took out the lone Monolith hiding behind the radioactive pipes, went up to BS complex just a couple of monolith, went back through RF a few bandits,zombies, dogs, was again very quiet.
Freedom guys still hanging around at the barrier, killed a couple of fleshes at the swamp, Freedom camp was normal,
end game.

game was very stable, no crashes or stuttering even with rain and lightning storms.
never worried about food or ammo as it was easy to come by, stopped collecting it tbh after I left Pripyat for NPP, (may need looking at)
weapons.
did most of the game with a SPSA 14, Fast Shooting AKM (with Silencer, no scope) VLA Special Assault Rifle (with scope) and the Vintar BC came across most of the "special weapons" but didn't use them as I had a good suppy of ammo for my weapons of choice.
blowouts didn't give me much grief, I never really got caught in the open with them and I was able to get into good cover every time.
food was in plentiful supply, (again I'd stopped collecting it) as was med kits and antirad meds.
mutants.
I liked the tubeman effects of the controllers,made things a touch tougher, but two nades normally took care of them.
would have liked to have seen much more mutant action, I never got into a situation that I couldn't handle, they just seemed light (as in not enough to worry me)
all in all a good mod, seems to follow along the lines of Vanilla with the added bonus of new weapons, drivable vehicles, added mutants and blowouts.

That aside i shall be playing this mod for a long time until the new version of NEWSA is released unless it has and i totally missed it :mozilla_surprised:

Now what is it people normally do at the beginning of this mod? i got most of the stashes in cordon from what i know and heading to garbage to save bes's arse if he decides to live.

He deserves a long break...OL was nice work and he had thousands
of posts on GSC. He's young, so I could see him getting into WOW
for awhile with friends.

Although I forgot so many things since I'm not modding, but I remember this random error. It only occurs if you are using nodvd exe, so use the retail one and save your disc with daemon tools.

And I'm sure still noone reads the readme, lol :D
