I just found the Company of Heroes (that was came with a Garphics Card last year, remaining stashed between other games. I have a DirectX patch 10 disc as well, apparently. :)

I remember that I had thought it was a MMOG and left it there. Now I've heard that it has single player ability as well. So, I'm thinking to install it.

Is it really good, I know you say good, but is it sort of a strategy game that you play 2D (or even its 3D) with less action, and morelike playing chess. You know what I mean. Or is it something like Ghost Recon (or GRAW) ?

edit:

It's not Opposing Fronts. Just simply: Company of Heroes.

Its an RTS in the style of Command & Conquer, but...

- Less emphasis on base building
- Smaller squads, more tactics needed than just tank rushes
- Awesome graphics on DX9, must be insane on DX10

I'd almost liken it more to Dawn of War in terms of the type of RTS it is.

Thanks :thumbright: I'll install it and give it a go.

EDIT:
Situation Update: installed the game, during the training exercise, I got very much bored -this game needs to be played over a control panel, not actually doing stuff- and uninstalled even before starting the game. Fortunately it had came free with the Graphics card. :)

I also got it with my VGA, haven't tried it yet... in fact, I've never played a strategy game.
