Happy Birthday :occasion6: :occasion9:

And congratulations on your drinking permit :mozilla_wink:

But you would've needed to wait another 3 years in the US for this: :drinkers:

Some of the 50 States let you drink when your 18 or 19. The
drinking age is controlled by the States (depending on how bad
they need the tax revenue). Simple economics.
cake for Balious.

Now that i'm a little bit older and perhaps wiser, i find drinking to be overrated. I think i over did it in my twenties sometimes driving home from a club and not remembering the trip, or waking up in bed wondering how you got home. They were good times though, now its just a couple of brews with my mates now and again and thats ample. I do miss the old hedonistic days as they were stress free days :-)

I couldn't agree more :salute:
many's the sunday morning when someone would wake me up because I'd fallen asleep on a bench at the bus stop or some other weird place while resting from the walk home after night clubbing.
lol, ahh yes the good old days, young, bullet proof with out a care in the world except making sure you had enough money to buy a few beers and a packet of condoms ;)
and if you were lucky, money left over for a chinese take away

Probably drinking LOL B-) When I turned 21, I went into a convenience store at 12:45 and went to buy just one can of beer because I could. A teenager was looking over the selection and asked if I would buy him some. I said sure. I picked my lone can and he pointed to a twelve pack he wanted and the clerk asked me for ID. He was looking at it and I said, "I've been 21 for 45 minutes". He then said, "I'll bet you're buy this kid beer too" and I said yes. He just laughed and sold it to me (the kid was standing right next to me). I made the kid (and his car full of friends) follow me a couple blocks to exchange but that made my birthday B-) 1978 was a good year \:d/

I guess I am one of the older group being born 2-5-57.

Not as interesting life as some. Rescue diver in the Coast Guard, bouncer in strip clubs, shot a few times, stabbed a few times, married a few times ( getting shot was less painful ) now I own an internet company selling medical equipment all over the world. Not bad for a guy that never went to high school.
There is no social situation so serious that it can not be solved by the proper use of high explosives.

Ket...its not always that way. Right now your full of piss & vinegar and looking for the next exciting thing to do. That's normal since you
have lots of energy mentally and physically. Once you get to a certain
point, you are relaxed and don't feel the anxiety anymore. Its not that
I've done "everything" but I've pretty much done what I wanted at the time. Once you've been married, raised a child, earned a living for the family and then been given your freedom again, like me, I feel
a sense of acomplishment that allows me to relax and be silly and have fun. Next Monday, the 10th, I'll be 54 and feel good about it.
Maybe its because I can say "I don't care" and mean it. Whatever
your age is...go with it...it ain't like you have any choice. :)

Today is my wife Tina's birthday (49) and we're getting on the Ninja and riding to La Jolla (San Diego area) to see the seals that have made a home in that area. Riding a sportbike is a rrrrrrruuuuuusssssshhhhhhh LOL. And, very soon she is getting her own bike. :-bd I can't speak for her but for myself, 24 years ago, riding a motorcycle was just another form of transportation. Now, it's AWESOME! :d
