Nope... I am only 50. But I think that my time should be measured in "dog years" (because I have lived a verrrry active life and put a whole lotta miles on this old heap of a body), so that would make me 350!!! #-o

Unfortunately I feel that old most days! :pale:

Well I understand the lotta miles thing. Every bone in both hands broken, run over by a car, jumped out of a car going 60mph (don't ask!), 4 motorcycle wrecks ( one head on into a tree), and that was before I was 21!!

The real reason I said "don't ask" is because I don't know! Woke up the next morn all beat to hell. Called the guys I was with and asked them why they did it. They told me what I had done. Stupid drunk. Why I have not had a drink in 23 years.
PS. Sorry to see you leaving even tho I did not get to really know you since I come back.

I'll tell you, ket. The skies turned dark and the weather got cold. The dinos were lazy, and didn't adapt well to the consequences of the big rock impacts (e.g., Chicxulub) and the Deccan vulcanism around the K-T boundary; birth rates dropped precipitously. :p

As busetibi notes, it's wombat70 who holds the age record. He can probably tell you about the Cambrian trilobites. The rest of us are young'uns, relatively speaking, even if our bodies are barely sustaining us.

"There are old pilots, and there are bold pilots, but there are no old bold pilots." But there's rockingmtranch, fatrap, and grump642, among the very few who can tell us about facing death.

I've faced real death... once I walked out of a car crash where the car was folded like an accordian (sp?) an another time I was electrocuted at a wall socket in the house, got shot clean across the room after being zapped for a good 5 secs or more.

... Yet this muffin is still here :d
