bastards, I hope you die screaming in pain

This email is to let you know that your BigPond Broadband service has been slowed to 64kbps because you have reached your monthly usage allowance.

Of course, you can't incur excess usage charges on your BigPond Liberty plan - but speeds will remain slowed to 64kbps until the end of the month.

arggggg and to think I pay these turds $60 per month for a mere 12 GIG.
*uck ,broadband in oz sucks the big one (lmao broadband)no, really it does god I hate this *ucking shit.

12 GIG download limit only?!! That really sucks, awful. I fully sympathise with your situation and with your anger. Particularly nowadays all broadband prices are steadily coming down in the world and offers do almost always come with unlimited downloads. We're paying £15 to UKOnline for 2 Mb line with literally unlimited download ability.

Why is that I wonder the broadband service is still so uncompetitive over there, as it seems? Too bad, though.

Unlimited is an interesting term used here. We have "Unlimited" 3G broadband but go over 10 Gigs once and see what happens to your speed. No warning in my case. Just slower speed. And for $60 a month.
LINUX! Don't fight it. You will be assimilated!

I live so far out in the country that I can not get DSL or cable broadband. I have to use AT&Ts 3G wireless service. Speed varies depending on signal.

Well its worse in good old South Africa.

I pay the equivalent of $35 for 1 gig limit, yes I said 1 gig LOL

I have 3G that supposedly runs at 3.6mbps but have never seen the likes of that speed.

Hope that makes you feel better Busetibi :D

I think we get a much better deal than many parts of the world here in the UK, that's a bit unexpected frankly when considering the general price levels in the UK; well, it's nice to see at least in one sector there is something cheaper, lol. I'd recommed our UK members to try UKOnline, they are very cheap and offer high quality service, that's from the mouth of a customer.

I offer my sincere sympathies :mozilla_frown: I've heard very bad stories about BT, that's why I tried to stay away from them. As far as I heard, their unlimited means not-exactly-unlimited rather quite limited.
