VINTAR...Twisted Sister really freaked people out when they started.

Nightwatch...I had "VOL. 4" and "Master of Reality" on 8-track tape!
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=tQ_FIrOrYrs

Old stuff...but then I remember sitting on the floor watching the Beatles
make their US debut on the Ed Sullivan Show in Jan. 1964. I was 9.

These are collector item quality stuff now. :thumbleft: You have some treasure. (Let's put them in a stash box and ten firebites in front of it :) )

Cool stuff :thumbleft: there's a certain quality of eeriness in them. You say taht you use them for STALKER Soundtrack, do you have them as ready to go, I mean commented and everything?

EDIT
PS: It seems all this talk of Heavy Rock/Metal has scared the rap/hip-hop discussions? :D

I think I converted about five songs into ogg format but I'm not sure if I still have them, they might be on the exterior harddrive ( rig changing ), not certain tho.
I have a whole folder of lustmord ( in mp3 format ) I would upload them but I think that it wouldn't be legal

I don't think uploading that stuff could be legal on a public server. You would be contravening the File Host Services terms, as you openly mentioned about it, I cannot say go ahead with it.
I need to check first that if Lustmord will be OK with the possibility of their stuff being used in a non-profit Game mod. :) If I see that's possible, then you can mail how I can listen to the .ogg commented files before giving a decision on their usability. :)

Reminded me somehow the movie Apocalypse Now.

Check this one:

(Once banned, and now military (as far as I heard) encourages it not to be listened to by its members; I'm not sure if they'll confirm this, but that's the news.)

Metallica and the famous One

(disturbing scenes... but for STALKER community, it shouldn't be.)

Ooh I missed a few nice ones here.... Sea of Sorrow is a great song, possibly my favourite on the Facelift album, I also love Rooster on the Dirt album, it just makes me think of some kind of Oliver Stone 'nam film.

I also have Jar of Flies and Sap, some great tunes though far more mellow and acoustic, in comparison to other Alice in Chains stuff.

Opening baseline in Would? can still give me a shiver

As for Tool, I have Opiate, Undertow and the 10,000 soemthing one (can't remember the name).

Possibly my favourite track is the one on Undertow on which Henry Rollins has a short speaking piece, while the baseline plays... must find that now...

Speaking of which, Rollins Band anyone? Got about 5 albums, but The End of Silence got me through college so it has a special place, check these out.

It's mostly industrial (and derivatives) lately, with a few J-game OSTs mixed into my playlist. I'm pretty sure I'm the only rivethead here, though. Never did like hip-hop - I dunno why. Don't mind that it exists or that it's popular - it's just too upbeat for me, if anything.

I can't say I'm quite knowledgeable about the Industrial Music, all I know is that -I made some checking up- it's been mixed up, wrongly, by Goth music type; though, I think dress codes of hardcore fans of both currents may appear a bit close to each other from the viewpoint of outsiders. Top group in this genre, and an example? I guess a fan would tell it better than Wikipedia. :)

Goddamn, you're asking a lot! Wikipedia is pretty accurate (it should be; I can tell it's gotten a pretty decent amount of love from some rivetheads). As for an example? Be more specific! Gimme a sec to see what YT has on-hand.
