I really like techno and house music, too, as well as trance.

got that right.
we have a neighbour we loves playing "that" kind of music?
he ups the volume and we can feel the bass through the floor
just noise pollution imho.
but, each to his own.

Hey man, that was awesome. Have you checked Metallica's new album? I got it, but not able to listen to it yet. Hopefully, this week will find time for it :headbang:

Big Gun is a top tune, its the second mention in this thread!!

As for Godsmack, well I had one of the albums on ahem "long term loan" from a friend but I can't for the life of me remember the name... that drumming is excellent though, nice video.

... shit just noticed it was Big Gun that was used in Last Action Hero, I always thought it was T.N.T for some reason.

Hey... you know your stuff. :thumbright: :salute:

One of the best pieces of their album "Load"

"Watch what you wish... You may just get it" it says. How true. Cool. :angryfire:

Have you checked the "Until It Sleeps?"
I'd put it here, but there is no quality video on damn Utube.
I have their full catalog; Led Zep, Deep Purple (in both sets some signed copies) a bunch of others as well.
Jimi, too (hendrix of course). All Along the Watchtower. Brilliant. Used in a Mod in OGR. (Year of the Monkey)

At the time when Metallica started, you also had Megadeth.

Megadeath roks, too. Well, they should, shoouldn't they, after all they are a rock band :D

Deep Purple vid is apearl from very early days. I don't think the lead solo was Ian Gillan over there in the video, though. They got a tougher appearance that this one over the years.
pThe story goes as: On eday they visited a LedZep rehearsal when they were newly formed (private one) and after listening to Robert Plant, they said: "F**k, we're doomed, we need someone like Plant." Well, they, after a while, found Ian Gillan, though he was no Robert Plant, he was a second best, maybe, still very good. :thumbright:

Nightwatch...that was Joe Lynn Turner, he was with them for a few years.
I had the original album "Green River" in 1971. It's still great but they
never put the same original on CD. (Creedence Clearwater Revival)

I guessed so; and I agree. Again very cool one. Video is superb as well. Florida? Guess so, looks like the alligator valley :)

And a kickass piece from me:

One the best pieces of Rock history: Paranoid
BLACK SABBATH
at their Reunion concert. Second biggest event only to LedZep reunion.!

Ozzy Osbourne and Geezer Butler -arguably the best bassist in existence- at their best:
