Thanks Micheal. Our driver manager came in yesterday and said she was scheduled to pickup her new student in Oklahoma City. The weekend crew sent her to Salt Lake City. Now she has to pickup a load and head to Oklahoma, pickup student, then deliver to Dallas. Bloody hell! She told me this morning this is the last student. She's done!!! And you speak of strip tease clubs and burger bars. Didn't know you were so familiar with the US :D B-)

Well, she's had her student since Saturday. All she does is cry #-o No way will she ever be a truck driver if she crys over every little thing. Picing up a load now in Laredo TX to deliver here. At the rate they are going, it will be a week before they get here. Cleaning out the truck when they do. Tired of this crap and Tina made $700 in two weeks :-Q We should be making that a day!!!!

Sorry that I couldn't comment on the last developments; tried to play football, had a very hard collusion with a rival, cracked the leg bone. He had a bad knee as well. Trying to be football age young I guess, haha, but in fairness the result wouldn't have been much different even if I were 20 something, bad collusion.

Well, it seems Tina is really having a tough time and has picked a bad lottery ticket as far as trucking is concerned. There is always a luck element, things we can't quite control. like that, on the other side of the table, everything might've been working smoothly by now. I say this is a bad luck on her part, of course it affects you rather adversely, too.
Maybe the company with which she's working is the root of the problem. Everything smells like a good example of bad management there.

Will she take a break now?

Wow. I hope you heal well and feel better Michael. We're not spring chickens anymore. We're STALKERS damnit!!! LOL. Tina should be home tomorrow and we're cleaning out the truck. Have many offers on the table so we'll be working by the end of the month (cause she wants a minute off after all this crap).

Tina is back? Great news for you to celebrate finally. It has been a tough journey for her and a tough wait and worry for you.

I'm alright buddy, thanks for your concern. It wasn't a serious injury, feel quiet ok now. :)

Yepper. Been across the country and back. Up to Washington and down to LA. Then back up again. Picked up yesterday at Georgia Pacific in Toledo Oregon to take south to LA. Over 20 tons of paper. Six thousand pounds per roll. Hell on fuel mileage. But, ten thousand miles in 12 days.

Apologies for the uuh, absence, still alive and well as one can be ... for this poor sodd anyway.
Been kinda off 'the grid', mostly doing bugger all.
Not that I've ever been a particularly jolly fella but it ain't going any better either. Last year I got a reserve training summon, had to go through evaluation and stuff ... turns out I in fact do have depression and a few other socially detrimental attributes ... suspected as much myself but to voluntarily go to a check up ... yeeeah.
No need to worry about any terminal thought patterns, this one shall be sticking around on this little speck of dirt for quite some time longer.

I do appreciate the concern.

Happy to hear from you again Dark Templar
Equally happy that you are alright as well.
Don't worry about that depression at all. Fist of all, in these current times, there's no one who is depressed in one extent or another. Furtehrmore, let me tell you this, if you see someone who claims that he is immune to depression in such tricky, challenging times, then I advice you to slowly walk away from that person without making him aware, because he IS the crakpot himself!
being oblivious to the challenges of life and "not feeling" (feeling down, sorry, whatever) is a perfect sign of illness!
Concious and thinking, and "able to comprehend" people do of course feel depressed at one time or another and exhibit some healthy "de-charge" behaviours, not harmful to anyone or themselves of course.

What you say, and your analysis of yourself shows you are a thoughtful person, which is not a problem.

Welcome.

Were it only in the current times, though news about what goes on in the world have hardly helped, this crud has been going on for the better part of a decade by now, maybe longer, not entirely sure.
Truth be told, I don't function particularly well as a member of society. Only reason why I manage to get along is because most of the encounters are brief and can more or less be brushed aside by using methods gained by years of observation, that and a rather strong self preservation instinct (some of things i'd like to do to settle things would probably result in requiring at least an official apology statement).
