Hey guys! Hope you all had a good holiday! Not going so well for my family... my youngest daughter and her husband lost their baby less than a week before she was scheduled for induced labor. All of the family is scrambling to help out with the unforeseen expenses (including $2500 for the autopsy) and my wife Julie has set up a gofundme page for them. That is great! I love Arizona and would love to settle there if I could ever get my wife to move away from the kids and grandkids...... uuggghh!
I've been playing an odd game that looks to be set in Arizona and am having waaaay too much fun with it. It is a weird game called 7 Days to Die and it is a modders dream because almost all the files you work with are XML and that is sweet!

Sounds good Fatrap. I'll patiently wait for one of your "mods" of the game. So, we've been to the property three times and going again next week for an overnighter. I'm using one of my boat trailers with a huge box on it to haul "stuff (junk)" out there. Wanted to see if anyone would mess with anything. I spent one overnight with just my 125 lb pitbull. That was cool (and I mean below freezing ). If anyone wants to Google Earth it the adress is 8064 Pasa Robles Drive White Hills AZ. It's about an hour from Vegas or Kingman. Bare land. Have to haul water. Compost toilet. Might get lucky and have electric. Just have to wait and see on that. Otherwise, cactus sticker heaven LOL.

Sounds like it poses a colossal challenge!
A lot of expense too.
But the bright side is that when you've finished it, you can say: "whatever you see around, I've made it!"

Still moving to the desert. About a dozen 700 mile round trips so far. Maybe 5 or 6 more and we're there.

Just got back from the DESERT! Most unforgiving place I'll tell ya. HOT! Did I mention it was HOT? Think Robin Williams in Good Morning Vietnam. Worked all afternoon unloading the "stuff" and drinking and passed out at 6:30 LOL. The two pitties had a ball chasing coyote's all night and now home they are licking their wounds. No bites. Just Teddy Bear Cholla stickers I've been helping pull out of them (two out one's tongue). One went all the way through his tongue Supposed to be in the high one hundred and teens out there today but bearable next week so I have a week to load up the ole trailer and go again. Tina is of course out on the road paying for all this She will be near Chicago in a couple days. Let's wish her luck. Thanks for keeping up with the antics Micheal

Very colourful depiction of the desert and the life there buddy, I almost felt I was there.
It must be really really hot. I guess it'll be one of biggest challenges to face there.
Back and forth between California and the desert, building a settlement from the very beginning, very hard work indeed.
