Important Links to Modding Questions and Answers

Postby Nightwatch on 24 Oct 2008 14:52

:computer:

Here are some links to various answers and discussions from very important and knowledgeable modders, programmers on various sites and forums. (some are the members of this forum as well. :) )
I believe these links to important answers and discussion will provide and easy reference for modders and enthusiasts, saving them from entering long searches on the internet and from having the need of asking the same questions over and over again.

Please, if you have any other links and/or tutorials and/or links to those subjects, please let any of the Moderators have them, so we can add those here on this Sticky, helping new links not to disappear amongs the posts.

STALKER SoC and CS SDK Wiki Main Page

Useful Wiki Articles/Tutorials

All links referencing to FileFront and Oblivion-Lost.de forum pages are no longer valid; FF's forum just went down without warning, and Oblivion-Lost crashed a while back and the resurrected English forum only really has the ongoing thread for Russo's ABC Inferno mod.

Also, the "Mod tutorials!" link to stalker.heroesradio.com/Forum is no longer valid; the forum has a policy of purging threads with no new posts within a certain period of time. They will move some threads into their archives, but someone has to be on the ball to make sure that happens -- and then the archived threads require forum membership to access.

And please use the name of web page link form to keep the page from being too wide to read; some themes don't handle long URLs correctly.

Minor question, can someone upload me a copy of acdc.pl? I'm runnning behind a nazi firewall and can't get to the site.
Glory to the holy Monolith, we shall abide in it's radiance forever.
The gloried crystal, through the arms of believers, Shall cleanse all those without true faith from the zone.
It is the greatest honour to be allowed in it's presence, let alone within it's very Home.
Pay homage to your benefactors.

My answers (from the top) number 4 and 6 has the necessary attachments and links.

Do not forget that you also need to install the Active Perl, suitable version for your OS, e.g. either for 32 bit or 64 versions. (download link on 4th post)
