SoC and CS diffs

Postby Grump642 on 23 Dec 2008 02:48

A quick question. Is there some basic file structure differences between the 2 games? Things I did easily in SoC just give me a CTD in CS. Like adding new weapons, ammo( think 44_Mag), and such. I redid vanilla files, not just copying files over. I'm playing with Natasha's mod( very good) and just wanted to add some stuff to get back into things. Thanks

CS has a lot more stuff hardcoded than SoC, its the biggest reason why a lot of modders dont give a flying monkey about CS. Best way to look at CS is "stalker: devmod" nothing more.

Yeah, I begin to see that. Tho Natasha did a good job with her mod. The game does have some good playing points tho. After I finish CS, I guess I will return to working on SoC.
