How to change magazine in stalker priboi mod

Hi guys im new to this forum and a noob at modding stalker, can someone please tell me how to change the amount of ammo your magazine can hold on the priboi mod, Thanks.

You need to open up [whatever path your STALKER game is in]/gamedata/config/weapons/ in explorer,
then open up whichever weapon you want to edit, it will be named "w_weaponname.ltx" with notepad(I use notepad++, but thats just preference)
and find the line of code pertaining to ammo_mag_size,(I'm not in front of my STALKER machine, so I could be wrong about that, but it'll be named something similar.) then alter the number it gives(the Toz will say 2, the ak47 will say 30, ect) to whatever you want, and bingo, custom weapon(vista will give you some bs about the file saving, so save it to desktop, then replace the file with a drag and drop to the config/weapons directory.)

I've been modding for around a month and a half now, but a lot of what I know comes from modding Doom, which I'm way more able to. Stalker modding is a small hobby of mine, as is cut-content hunting.(check the wikia, me and a few others have dug up piles and piles of info on what one was.)

Cool ive also been "TRYING" to mod stalker for about a month, ive been modding other games like morrowind before that though. Oh by the way i managed to change the magazine size no sweat. Thanks for your help

Also, try messing around with the hit_power of a weapon, that decides what kind of damage it does.

Yeah i had alook at doing that but half of the script is encoded and i cant understand it .

Encoded or is it just the parts that are in Russian? The scripting is pretty straight forward once you start seeing how things work. Like the hit power for instance. If it is 0.6 and you change it to 5.6, the bullet will strike the target like a tank round. You'll have bodies flying all over!

It'll be in badly converted cyrillic chars, for the most part they're just comments, so don't worry about them. everything in front of a " ; " is a comment.
also, what's with the influx of kiwi stalkers? Its like mutants after a blowout here.

yeah i dont know , i think people just relised how good the game was .
I also figured out how to change the hit power, gave the SVD the power of a guass rifle ! Do you know why their are 3 values ? eg: 1.20, 1.40, 1.60......does it have somthing to do with the hit location ?

You're of course right

(PS: I think we both talking under the assumption that priboi meant like 1.20 ;1.40 ;1.60 instead of 1.20, 1.40, 1.60)

as Hangman said, nothing after the (on the right side of) " ; " is read by the engine on LTX files, it's called commenting out.
Programmers can even write to themselves and others, like:

Thanks for the help guys , ive been off school for a week with a cold so I had plenty of time to fiddle with the LTX files. I understand them a lot better now
