Ahh.. Its nice to see I was at least in part responsible for starting an argument on which is the best graphics card for price/performance ratio :D

Fun arguing over PC components, isn't it? :p

Nah...just an informative debate. I been checking out posts from GTX295 owners and the
power needed to run that monster is rediculous! But...we knew that.

Yeah, in my mind, 295 still seems a bit too overkill. When start to rebuild my PC next mount (it's overdue for some time) I've decided to stick with my initial preference for a GTX26. I believe, a factory OC'd one will do just as well as the monster 295 in practical terms, unless one runs a benchmark test results of which can only be seen on paper.

Don't even bother with a factory OC'd GTX260. The £20-30 premium you pay is just not worth it. Take the dip in the OCers paddling pool area and you will get a GTX260 that not only cost you less, but also performs way better than any factory OCd card :d

Yeah, that's true as well. I was talking in a more general sense, taking account of people who don't OC cards themselves as well, otherwise either Nvidia Control panel, or if ASUS' case, ASUS Smart Doctor, or again, Riva Tuner, etc, will do just fine.

I've always used Rivatuner...great utility.
GTX260 is also what I would like.
