FS: Some of my spare parts

FS: Some of my spare parts

Postby ket on 29 Jul 2009 13:04

There isn't a FS forum here atm, so I figure this forum is as close as it gets. I have lots of spare parts I'm selling for cheap to get some room back in my hardware wardrobe, I'll upload pics on request.

The stuff:

CPU: E4400. Lapped and de-lidded but the IHS in included for anyone that needs it. Nice little chip I once had clocked to 3.2GHz 400MHz FSB, YMMV of course. I forget what voltage it needed for that though, been a while since it was OC'd. Chip is guaranteed not to be DOA and has passed 1hr of OCCT @ stock. This little chip can be yours for £30 including postage.

GPU: Radeon HD3870 512MB GDDR3. Still a nice card this really, its clocks have been modified to 850MHz GPU, 2GHz memory. Due to how I had to modify these clocks this card MUST be the master card, ie used in the top PCI-E slot in any CF configuration. If preferred I can flash the card with the unmodded BIOS and its new owner can have fun playing with it. This card comes with its retail packaging with all accessories and should still have about 1 year of warrenty on it through Sapphire still and guaranteed not DOA. (Just don't tell Sapphire it's been OCd should it need a RMA in the time remaining of its warrenty) This card can be yours for £40 including postage.

RAM: 2x2GB PC8500 Transcend aXeRAM, 2x1GB Patriot 4-4-4-12 PC6400 (does PC8000 5-5-5-15 2.2v). Both kits come with their retail packaging with warrenty. Being the hardware whore I am I just went and bought a new memory kit so these are now surplus to requirements. The aXeRAM can be yours for £45 including postage and the Patriot can be yours for £30 including postage. Both kits guaranteed not to be DOA, although the Patriot kit not many motherboards support so check the QVL list that will be available for your board from the manufacturers website.

I can only do bank transfer or cheque guys. Paypal tried stinging me for £200 for something I had nothing to do with, so I don't use them anymore.
