So im playing last night and get the scene where im following the big robot and then i decide to go turn on the purifier and bang, game over!!!11!!1! Looks like i need to go way back to another save cause i only have two bobbleheads! Some places i hadnt been to i avoided thinking they would come up in a mission somewhere but looks like i need to explore randomly

I did the same thing the first time I played. Followed the story line (which is awesome by the way) but I was like, AUGH!!!!! Game over???? AUGH!!! Now it's all about exploration.

When I played, I didn't go to Megaton first, although I was supposed to according to the storyline. When I finally decided to go to Megaton, I had already visited 43 locations. I had found this type of wandering around more enjoyable. Though it's difficult, too, as you start meeting with powerful enemies while you had not yet acquired suitable weapons against those. But the ending was, yes, a bit not-so-satisfactory. IMO.

Well i started from an earlier save and have done another four quests with another four pending. Those deathclaws are tricky to kill. I picked up a schematics for a deathclaw weapon at the power station, then i died, went back to the powerstation only to find the schematics for a rail gun which i already have aaarg!

Yes, the ending is cool but somewhat anti-climactic. And trust me Vintar, that claw won't help you kill a claw. Bottlecap mines are best I find. Toss them while back peddling and pray.

Man did I miss a lot. I`ve done so many quests now that I started from a previous save.

Can anyone tell me where to go to stop the fire ants?

Found three more bobbleheads last night. It`s amazing how you can miss them.

Finding the source of the Fire Ants in Fallout 3

After the usual warning:

In order to find the source of the Fire Ants You first need to see the doctor in Marigold Metro station, which should be checked in your PDA.
There, through a door in Dr. Lesko's Lab, you will go down to the tunnels and find the Fire Ant Queen.

Inside is a bit dangerous, so take caution.

Speaking of Bobbles, I just found number 16. And yes, I had been there before. Amazing though, I'm still finding things I've never seen before.

Thanks nightwatch. Sorted out the ant queen quest. Funny thing was that i had been to marigold station before and never seen lesko!? Has anyone had a problem finishing the hannibal task. It says i must meet him at the memorial and gives me two markers on my map. The one marker was the memorial the other, which i eventually found, was hannibal and his crew, but they are just all standing on a rock just stuck there. I cant get them to move for love or money. Reminds me of hannibal leading his elephants through the mountains lol only this hannibal has brahmin anyone have a solution. I really hate a pending quest.

Heh, now that the level cap has been raised to 30, I must play Fallout again! YAY!

Ok i sorted out hannibal. I had to push him off the rockface and the rest of his crew followed. Wasnt easy to push him off. Took me a good 15 minutes to do because fallout actually is very good when someone is in your way in that you can push them out the way whereas in stalker the ai pushes you.

Great that you've sort it out the Ant Queen, VINTAR. In my first run, I hadn't see the doctor or the Ant Queen, either. The door is a bit obscure, least to say.
And, yes, who's this Hannibal? Have I missed him, too?
