Fallout Series Disscussions and Mods

Will do buddy, when I find the place :thumbright:

I have map markers modded out, I quite like the way you have to search the wasteland. Also I have ammo and meds pretty damned rare, so I have to weigh up the cost of taking on one of these places.

Please don't say where it is, I like stumbling upon things!!

You ever finish that vault you were working on? How did you find building a level in the GECK?
I am probably going to try it out, I quite like the idea of populating some of these buildings!!

Oh and thanks mate, its the explorer in me 8-[

Nah i never finshed it, and i found it REALLY REALLY easy, seriously, its just drag drop, and write a little bit of code simple as that, even then, you can skip the coding part, so its just placing and naming, and editing a few parameters, if you want, if i get a chance ill send you what i got on my vault so far. :)

Your have to remind me at some point as i will prob forget send me an email saying "Yo jamie, bizatch send me that vault" etc, then when i check my emails ill be like "OH yeah was gonna send Eggchen my vault, better do it now." :P

Yep, feel free to send it to me I will take a look.
I'm probably going to have a serious look at building something after I complete the game, so no rush.

Thanks Jamie.

Hmmmm....I was in the Dunwich building yesterday but, there wasn't anything to speak of. I hope my mod hasn't fubarred some things (Mark's mod). I like the mod as it has a great balance for me. After about 60 hours of play I'm only on level 12 for example. I'll go back and check Dunwich again.

It works. We use it over at thefloatingpoint.org. I like it because I'm terrible at NOT reading something LOL.

We can keep on using that site as long as it works, it'd give a good choice for everyone for knowing the tips/story or not.

Are there actually any recommanded mods to actually play the game to make it one of the best games ever? Like on oblivion theres those big mods that change things (i doubt there be one like that right now for fallout 3).

Story of my life with games they always crash whenever they do. And it has not stopped now with fallout 3. But its still playable and the crashes only happen about an hour or so in i believe. I just gotta remenber to save alot.

Nice tip rocking.... Org lbh ernq guvf qvqa'g lbh?

Balious, it is a great game as it is.... maybe some balancing and some texture improvements when they come out. The main thing for me is you find too much ammo and meds (even on hardest setting), I had to lower those, and change a couple of textures.

Audioave did a pretty good list a few pages back, and also I would defo recommend Wasteland Weather Overhauled.

I'm happy to share the rot13. One of the mods, I believe, brought it to light over at float32. And no Egg, I didn't read that. :-bd

I also had many, many crashes before. Now, with the mod I use and I load the game from a shortcut launcher I have on the desktop (the games launcher, not a hack), they are few and far between. Just sharing. I don't know if any of that would work for you.
