I don't wish to work in any team guys, sorry.

It's nothing to do with creative freedom, or differences of opinion or any rubbish like that. I just don't have the time to give a team enough input to feel I deserve to be called a member of that team. I said the same to Dezo about Priboi. I was a member of another team once, and only one of us had the time it needed, I felt bad for him and all the effort he put in, when nothing ever came of it. Though he does now work on priboi 1.2 so I guess all is good in the end :-bd

I am always happy to help, and try little projects, like I have done for many other mods.
Think of me as a freelancer (who does not get paid) if you get anything going, I'll be happy to chip in.

Thats cool buddy, happy to help out from time to time if I can!!

It is a curse of being older.... you earn money, but you need to spend all that money on a mortgage, bills, food, clothes, transport and pc hardware!! With the current global meltdown, I am going to have a very busy spring and summer. I work in stocks and shares, in particular when a company needs to raise money because they are struggling I get more work.... so this meltdown is actually helping me in a way, but I just don't get time to do much outside of work.

Back on topic, I find retexturing quite relaxing (weird I know), so feel free to ask. My skills are limited, I am definately someone who retextures and adapts existing stuff rather than creates whole new textures.

I see, sounds like hard work to me, but still, as you said it pays the bills etc. :)

As for retexturing that sounds awesome, if this does start off ill keep ya in mind.

So what would the team be so far?

Me = Mapping (kinda), modelling i can do easily, etc

Bal (if he so wished) =.....what can you do bal? lol

rockingmtranch = well he said without previous experiance, so you know, him and bal will have to learn, if one specliszed in model incorparation, i could go mental and just make em a shitload of models to stick in.

Anyway, nature calls and so does bed, so ill catch you all at some point tommorow, take care guys. :)

Well seeing as I can't play this on pc anytime soon I be playing it on my bro's PS3. A question for you all. Whats the easiest way to earn money.. I mean bottle caps? Just so I got a good idea on where to start as I try to complete it as an evil character. Then I be playing mods on the PC when I get the chance.

Easiest way is by being good!!

There are many side quests where you get paid for delivering scrap metal, books, etc... these often reward pretty well for collecting junk. Another way is to base you character on strength, the more loot you can carry the better. Often I found that in dungeons, buidlings, etc I was leaving loot behind I just could not carry.

Or, a high science skill would help, with this you can repair your own weapons and save a lot of money you would have spent on repairs.

To be fair, once you have a house, money is not that essential. In the unmodded game you can cure most ills by sleeping, so with a house you wipe out the cost of medkits.

And the highest pay I've found is the Arlington Library Pre-War Books you sell. And, Reilly's Rangers when she asks you to do some mapping for her.

Agreed, so much so that I halved the reward because I thought it was way too much. That is some way into the storyline though Bal, and by then you may have enough money anyway. My easiest early money was selling scrap to a guy in Megaton, I won't tell you his name, but he needs something fixed to open up this option.....

Thanks for the suggestions guys.

Well im still stuck on making gold (damn I do suck can't rob, lockpick or anything due to my suckiness)

My current character atm is evil and I am making him to be quite smart and quick. Haven't really done any quests apart from one part of that survival guide one.

May I ask people what they exactly do upon leaving the 101 vault? I am struggling like mad on this game. Good thing im not playing it on the pc otherwise cheats be on ages ago :-?

First thing I usually do is go to Moira in Megaton and take the Super Duper Mart job. That gears me up a bit from all the stuff I pick up. After that, anything goes. And, gurer vf n ubyybj ebpx evtug oruvaq Zrtngba. Vg unf fbzr pbby fghss va vg.
Rot13 will help ya out with that last bit.

THE PITT has been relased for Fallout 3, as I got an email on this subject. I don't remember if it's been mentioned here before. But, if not then this is the link:

It might be good but I won't buy "extra content" unless it comes out on a disc. I don't fool with GFWL since I'm not an online gamer.

The recent gun mods for this are amazing!
