Cut Anomaly - Rusty hair

Postby Hangman on 21 Oct 2010 22:08

From the wiki:
http://stalker.wikia.com/wiki/Rusty_hair
According to the website description, all metal surfaces will gradually accumulate the so-called rusty hair, which, when touched, will cause the body to blacken and smoke (apparently rot). Little else is known about it.

Well, I found the thing, and I'm suprised I hadn't heard about it before now, as it wasn't well hidden.

Here's the data:

So, what can be said about it? Is it re-addable? Can we bring back yet more removed Alpha content? I'll add any prudent information to its wiki page as well, your research will carve your name in history!

AFAIK rebuilding that anomaly would take quite a bit of work, but probably not impossible. I done a similar thing some time ago rebuilding the poltergeists so they could be used normally throughout the game.

Poltergeists huh? Did they ever have proper animations? All I've ever seen is that twitching they do when killed.

STALKER Soup has animations for them walking on the ground with their hands after you shoot them, you could check it out there.
