Baldur's Gate II - The shadows of Amn

Is this a good game? What do you guys think about that?
I did play Icewind Dale and it was good so far.
Although the graphics is outdated, but even if NWN2 has very good graphics, that's unplayable buggy and annoying, so I would play a playable and very atmospheric game with outdated graphics if it doesn't look terrible instead of a fancy annoyance-land.

Nope not played it, heard about it alot and apprently its very good.

Do you think its graphics is still playable? I didn't find too many screenshots yet.

Hmm, well depends on your view of what you look for in a game.

For me its all about gameplay hence why i play X-Com to death even tho its the same age as me just because its epic.

Try it is all i can suggest really, like i said never played it but i hear good things so it must be worth a try atleast i suppose.

I think i played it once on console. Well one of the Baldurs gate anyway. And i always wanted to play this game again. Need to find it and get it..

I played all four Baldur's Gate games.... And to this day, I maintain that the first was the best. The first had awesome gameplay and some seriously fun combat. It's expansion just added to it. Shadows of Amn and its expansion just didn't have the story writing that would make me go "WOW!"

Hm, well, I tried BG2 SoA but I didn't like it too much, it didn't impress me enough.

Well, compared to the first Baldur's Gate, SoA is just completely lame. The writing was very poor, and relied heavily on scripts. The first one on the other hand, was phenomenol in terms of writing and story arc. And believe it or not, there was freeplay. A little feature that was removed from SoA.
