If anyone is having visibility problems in TK I strongly recommend talking to nightwatch. He can help you correctly configure your monitor.

But see, the only time there is a visibility issue is when one uses said scopes, sure upping the gamma or maybe contrast would help bring out the body lines of the target but that would offset proper visuals elsewhere. Yet again no offence meant.

Is it the "bumping" some textures have? The idea was to give the impression the scope glass had been effected by the raditation. I'm looking into other scope textures.

Ah, thats a dual texture scope for day and night ops. The idea was one half of the scope helped in night ops while the other half was regual for day use. That texture if I'm remembering correctly has been changed now anyway, I'm testing the final beta build there will be before the long awaited TK 2.0 hits final release stage.

Here is a screenshot of my latest graphical enhancements - Global Illumination.

The effect has been optimised and is based on the use of 64 out of 256 photons. GI is not for those with weak systems, in Sids bunker I hover around 100FPS when I use a less accurate form of GI, the "full phat" version of GI as you can see, brings that down to 40FPS. Don't worry though, FPS lag is not a issue for people running a GTX460 or better. I managed to smooth out FPS extremely well. So, thoughts on the GI effect?

Whats so amazing about the books? :p That screenshot is just showing what I've done with Global Illumination though even now with GI being used as it should it can bring a system to its knees. Especially at night.

Alright, I'll upload now and post the link up when its done. This beta has all of the graphical enhancements done, moonlight when the weather is good enough, completed weather system complete with stormy weather after blowouts, generally lots of goodness, tweaks and eyecandy.

Ok, finally got around to play. Very first impression after the car-park =>YOU SADISTIC BASTARD :ymdevil: Even H.Lecter would say "fuck this" and run. Meant with all the best sentiments of-course. :ymbringiton: :ymdevil:
Weapons are ok, on first impressions the suits degrade just a little bit too easily, need to play longer to get a proper assessment. Visually rather nice, although the contrast renders some spots too dark to see properly from a distance. As for the motion blur, might just be the rig ageing but it hinders gameplay if it gets hectic and you have to turn and twitch around much.

Will give an update once in Garbage or a bit further.

I probably should of mentioned the mod is still for 1.0004, anything else you will likely get issues. I'd also suggest you use the included fsgame file and completely remove stalker then reinstall and patch it to 1.0004. We all know how finicky xray can be.

Perhaps it is the 'fsgame' then or if as One understands, something in the errors refers to wrong version, it might be the user.ltx as that was last affiliated with 1.0005 cause of zrp which is still on a different copy.
