Well it would seem that I got the place, now I have to wait til next July. Altho the trip expenses will be covered, theres still the issue of pocket money, I don't know what the exact exchange course will be then but most of the time it's about 1 dollar=14-15 Estonian krones, so it's quite expensive.

I'm really bored right now nad I thought I'd try out an rpg, does anybody know if it is possible to download Spellforce:Order of Dawn for free on the internet, I sofar have had no sucess.


I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt here, although as the game came out in 2004 I can't see it being abandonware.

You mean it's being relased by the devs? That's great, particularly when they move towards helping the modding community so soon after the relase of the game.
So, when I start playing, there'll be a lot of mods around. Splendid.

I understand your concern busetibi but I was not trying to get any nor was I trying to distribute illegal download sites, besides those sites are full of unwanted harmful crap, I am a honoust player and do not own games that have been obtained illegaly. I think no one is impressed with the new games so much, like those of Fallout 3 and Far Cry 2, as noone mentions them anymore. So I haven't missed that much as it seems by delaying to play them. Still SoC mods rules the hardcore gaming as it seems.

Hey you all, you know what? I'm mugged tonight. (a British term of being robbed at gun/knife point) I was in so called West-end, th ecentral london. Though it was after midnight, getting back home after a night out with my pals, I was stopped by two men, one pulled a switchblade/flickknife, whatever you prefer, and put it on my throat. So I had to give them my valelt, my mobile phone and the cash in my pocket. Shit!! Thay ran away. Well, I was fortunate, they sometime, quite often, amy kill you too even after robbing. Plice came 20 minutes later, asid there were many incidents and that police force wsa not enough to deal everything. He might be right but didnt help me. Muggers must be at their home at taht time when I finished my report to the police. And I had get back home walking. Welcome to London!

I will not likely be talking about those new games in any knowlegeable way, Nightwatch, because I probably won't be getting them for various reasons, primarily 1) my boycott of badly DRM'ed stuff and 2) time (because some DRM is tolerable).

I'll have some time, but I'd still rather spend it extending and playing STALKER than playing games produced by companies that don't want my money.

I'm surprised at the culture and community that has grown up around STALKER, which may be part of the reason for its popularity and longevity even without a reasonable level of support from "the server side". (I even see Darkness62 and Victim here! ) GSC hasn't been putting in the kind of effort that would sustain this, and CS might be a negative if they don't release an SDK for it.

According to Don Reba the chances of a SDK for CS is slim to none. It is a pitty really because the SDK is the one thing that can keep a games playability up for many years.

I dunno, I see all these games on the shelf and I look at the pretty pics on the box and read the descriptions and go "meh, shite!"
I'm not sure if the games are being dumbed down or wtf is happening, but I'm not buying them.I can trace this back to Quake4, what a fkn POS that was, as an id fanboy from way back when, I was really looking forward to this release (I dont know why as they totally fk'ed up Doom 3) gawd what a train wreck, Quake 4 was suppose to be a follow on from Quake 2, since when did the Strogg have red armour???? fkn bullshit, and every time you met/fought them they telegraphed their presence with that fkn stupid "weeee" absolute garbage, Carmack should be put up against a wall for releasing this crap!
I'm thinking about building a machine and installing windows 98 (yes I have the original disc) so I can play my old games on it.
