Hasn't snowed for ages and when it does the whole place goes mad. For me even more amazed theres hardly anyone on the buses. Seems much worser in london from what i heard with everything being shut.

Im writing this message right now as my school/6form/college got shut. Just why couldn't they be closed earlier so i didn't waste 2 hours playing on the DS over there and about 30minutes of frankenstein.

while you're all talking about snow and ice and cold weather et al and the deaths from it
Adelaide in South Australia is currently going through a heat wave of temps over 40c, seems like 30 people have died from the heat.
I lived in Adelaide for a year before coming to Queensland, and the heat in Adelaide is terrible, it's a dry heat which can suck the moisture out of your body damn quick, where as the heat in Qld is moist (very humid) dunno which is worse a heat that sucks the air out of your lungs or a heat that drowns your lungs with moisture


I know Wombat_70 lives in Adelaide, I hope he's okay.

Really a big contrast between Australia and here in Britain. I've heard the terrible heat in Australia, too bad. I hope everyone you guys over there trying your best to stay alright at the least in that heatwave.

While in the UK, snow has closed down everything. Most of Londoners got stuck at home, roads no good to drive, no buses, tubes (metro/subway) or taxis... and distances are always too great to walk. Heathrow is closed, and no railway is operating the last time I checked.

Well, this is not a snow country, people is not used to it that much here, neither the infrastructure. I hope tomorrow will get better for I really need to go places, but they say that tonight a sub-zero (C) freezing wind is coming and that tomorrow everywhere is expected to be frozen. I hope they (weatherman/woman) turn out to be wrong, they have been before.

Today I found the car covered with 10 inches of snow! Yeah, it doen't snow a lot here in the particularly south east of UK, the part which is nearest to France. they say it's the worst snow in 18 years. It rains here a lot, almost endlessly, people must have naturally developed very good wet-weather driving skills, but, lol, when it snows it's a chaos. No one has winter tyres or anyting like that, so it is even more challenging to drive on icy roads with nice-asphalt tires.
Schools, andmany businesses remained closed for the second day today. Tomorrow (Wednesday) they expect it get better a bit, only to even further deteriorate for the next days.

Must be all that global warming? We didn't get the ice in MS, but we have a big generator if we lose power. Plus, I have a propane cook stove for camping and all my other camping gear. Remember Audioave, I live in Katrina country.

Where the dogs? Also are all of duty drunk to let all these zombies there in the first place? With NEWSA it seems like they think its fun to mess in the zone. How sadly mistaken they are

I take Fatrap's Run & Gun Special Edition and script in zombies like a farking maniac. I
wander around the Bar area with about 50 of them following me. If they corner me, I
have to pull out the auto-shotgun and go to work. Once I've killed about 30 of them I
get about 3 frames a second...its hell on a PC. That's with most settings cranked up.
It makes for great screenshots.

Woo I just got two good games for £1.98. They are Two Worlds and Call of Cthulhu both on PC.

Anyone tried these two games? they were 99p each and brand new too

Hey guys, sorry about diving in with a change of subject to a sombre one, but we're hearing very bed news coming from Australia that says that over 100 people have died in the bush fires in Southern Australia. Condolonces to all there with great sympathies for their troubles, and I hope that our friends over there are alright as well, like busetibi. Are you alright buddy? Anybody else currently in Australia at the moment?

yup, I'm fine the fires are in NSW and Victoria which is over 1500Kms away, terrible news whole towns wiped out and I mean wiped out, no buildings standing, nothing left and death toll is now at 131 and North Queensland is flooded and has been for weeks, young 5 yr old taken by crocodile in a river and crocs swimming through the street of some towns.
we had bush fires go through where I live three years ago, all we lost was the back and side fences and some trees, living in Australia makes you prepare for these things, cleaning gutters out, having a fire plan etc, and making the decision to either fight the fire or leave early.

sad sad weekend.
