I did notice a lot of traffic on the site when they released that old build of theres for download.

It will take a few hours to download I suppose and if people arent shuting down GSC while loading, I would imagine it will put a strain on things a bit.

Hey guys. Im currently writing/typing a story in my free time due to being bored. It is sort of like Resident Evil in a way with a company making viruses and so on. Currently just planning my characters and getting a summary and so on. I just can't think of a name for this zombie survival horror like story. Can anyone think of any suggestions? I don't want any ones that are taken like Resident Evil/Biohazard, Deadzone etc.

Also if anyone would like to I am putting people into my story as any character they choose to be like do they wanna be a civilian or a soldier or a company guy etc. Feel free to ask if you wanna be in it. Just make sure you tell me what sort of character you want like I said earlier.

I have got a very basic summary right now and this is it:
This is a zombie survival horror story written by me. It begins with the company Mattwick Industries testing some samples and there was a spill. The Steel Dragons were called in before it got out of control with the civilians going crazy. But when they arrived they did not expect to meet what they saw.

That summary can very well change and although the names are most likely crap to you lot they seem good to me (the Steel Dragons one is anyway the other one is a sort of joke my friends say to me of being rich and all long story short time)

I am gonna add some monsters from STALKER such as Bloodsuckers, Controllers, Poltergeists and maybe others along with monsters from Silent Hill, Resident Evil and any other horror like games/films/books.

So would anyone be interested in reading this? Didn't quite know if I should of made a new topic or not so I thought I get the bar alive again as it looked dead.

Also seeing as I ain't replyed here in a while nice videos guys.

No suggestions from me, other than you call it something vague that is revealed by the end of the story....

So maybe you call it the name of a hotel, or apartment block... for the first half of the story it is just a title and no-one "gets" it.... then the survivors reach this place and the reason behind the name for the story is revealed. So the reader will be like "Ah, this is Fawlty Towers*, bet this is where the climax to the story is...."

* Told you I couldn't think of any names right now.

Thanks guys I keep them in mind. Well audioave's anyway as Eggchen only gave a good suggestion of what the name could mean. It sounds very good as I want the readers to feel horror and confused by the title until they actually read what it means. I may start the story today.

And Eggchen I suck with names like you as you may see that I don't quite have a title yet. Out of the names suggested to me Mindless and Hotel Dread seem to be screaming at me to pick them (two names I would of never thought I call a story this as well ). Maybe The Lost City? anyone like that? maybe something city..

One thing I also suck at and I admit is descriptions. I guess I post the story in a new topic of my own here so it doesn't full up the bar and actually has its own section so some people may not miss it. Then people can see if my story is good or not and give me some more pointers.

Thanks buddy, technically it went very well actually. Every piece seemed to doing alright with each other, but as you know by now, Vista got me as soon as I tried to enter the OS. On eweeks later, I'm at the (more or less) same point now where I had been, it took me very long to install everything and configure them. Thanks.

I found it when I was making some researches on the internet, if I remember the site, I'll drop you a PM. It was about Hank's boss being invited to attend a Hall of Flame ceremony, etc. It was one of the latest episodes, I guess.
