Perhaps it's a timing thing; I've seen that error a while back, but only briefly. You could try Firefox again.
Or perhaps the connection is not reliable, or there may be some malware interfering, like a denial-of-service attack on the server.
Or it could be simply a server load issue. It seems sporadically slower than usual at times right now, perhaps due to the heightened interest in Nightwatch's new baby.
